Immortality and Life
You are alive
And susceptible no doubt.
To the worries and woes
The pains and the pouts.
You are also vulnerable
To love, joy, belonging, and laughter.
And everything in between
For you to take in, in wild rapture.
There will come a time
To move beyond into the infinite unknown
And savor and relish the birthplace of it all.
I think this may be how the great sages thrived
Pendulating between immortality and life.
Bow to the land, the water, the hills
Remember the parts of you that can never be killed.
