Harnessing Transformation
Most wisdom traditions and spiritual teachings acknowledge the cycles of life and the death that comes along with it.
Embracing the discomfort that lives in various seasons, and the opposite of birth and joy that coexist along the way.
Yet, no matter how many times I find myself on the wobbly ground of disturbance and death, I wish it away.
Not allowing it the space it deserves, not honoring the necessity of it; it’d be like dismissing the importance of the exhale.
Why is this I wonder?
Yes, it is uncomfortable but I think it’s less that and more the conditioned belief that it is wrong, that it is not okay, that it is a token of my faultiness.
So I share this to say to myself and anyone else who can relate, that it’s okay to be in this place.
And that you do have the capacity, the power, and the wisdom to transmute it
But you have to first accept it without judgement, without freezing, without fighting, without running
There must be a reconciliation of the relationship with this season of your life.
