Blessed Lughnasadh
Dear friends and fellow souls
I write to you so that you may behold
Earth’s blessings carried on the wind
The medicine from our oldest kin
An invitation to arrive
And taste the sweetness
as it starts to rise.
The sun shines a waning dance
Giving life a divine chance
Fruits drop, flowers open, vegetables grow fat
Please remember to take part in that.
Taste the richness of your work
Reflect on everything from joy to hurt
Another layer of becoming undone
Soften now, the time has come.
To remember you are enough
A taste of contentment from thy cup
The chalice that births potentiality
Is waiting for your synchronicity.
An invitation to step in
And celebrate all the wins
The wins of waking every day
To participate in the play
To acknowledge the ever-flowing dance
And step away from the trance.
Senses privy to an intelligence
The soul is beckoned to stand up and dance
Give back as much as you receive
Reciprocity is an ancient key.
Let love pour in and love pour out
It’s time to harvest and take a bow.
